"Fashion fades, only style remains the same."
I'm not always the one with the $200 bag or the skinny straight legs that can pull off tights and short shorts but I am one that loves fashion. I wasn't voted best dressed or made sure my make-up was perfect every day for class but that doesn't mean I'm not interested in fashion. And by no means am I Andrea Sachs from " The Devil Wears Prada." I at least have a clue about trends and styles. I'm always thinking of cute outfits that I think would be good for such and such event and what I love more than anything is flipping through fashion magazines and looking at each individual piece that makes up an outfit. Needless to say, it fasicnates me. My sometimes sweatpants and t-shirt look is about all I can muster out of the closet in the morning, throughout the day I have that burning desire to constantly piece together fashion items I see in magazines, in stores, or clothes I just think of on my own. With my underlying love for fashion, clothes, shopping, and shoes I figure getting all my shopping energy into a blog would be a better than spending thousands and thousands of dollars on clothes, being that I am a broke college student. With this blog, I'm going to share with you all the fun styles and outfits that I think of. So...let's begin!
My first outfit that I've been dying to get out of my head and share it with someone:
I recently just bought the Sliver-Wedge Boot from Old Navy (affordable & close by store with some great staple items. And I love them!) in camel. The leather, knee-high flat boots are very in this fall and winter and I've been itching to get my hands on a pair I saw in Lauren Conrad's new book Style, but again having no money these look-a-likes were a great replacement! Check them out!![link below]
I love these boots and they have inspired me to put together many different versitle looks. For one outfit that I'm really excited about I've paired these boots, with your basic classic dark wash skinny jean (I just picked up a pair at Charolette Russe for $10)-->

Basic so far but pair them with a American Eagle blue-white striped button down shirt and some jewelry to make it pop, you've got a look that will be a classic for a long time. OR instead of a this pearl necklace by Forever 21, punch up the outfit with some bright red. A preppy look with a twist of color is a great way to look causal and polished.

That's the first outfit I'll leave you with today, any suggestions or comments please let me known in the mean time, I'll keep thinking up more fashionable ideas!
